REJOICE VILLAGE

Rejoice Village should be the start of a new and better life for many!

In a green and fresh environment, the new headquarters for 4P are being built. The area will give us more opportunities to help people from the slums in Manila. The children from Rejoice Children’s Home will be moving here in 2020, and will be given the opportunity to grow up with a mother figure in a smaller household, which will facilitate better connections and more natural conditions for the children.

In addition to homes for children, we will create homes for struggling families, create livelihood-projects, grow our own food, create job opportunities, build a multipurpose-hall for the inhabitants of Rejoice Village and the surrounding neighbourhood and an administration-center for the 4P For People Foundation.

At Rejoice Children’s Home children are loved and cared for. We regard each child as valuable and unique and are committed to providing love and care to all our children. Most children have been subjected to serious neglect, violence and /or abuse, and need a safe environment as well as good people around them help them flourish.

In addition to giving the children a home, we are committed to providing the children with the tools they need to grow into independent people who can take care of themselves and their own. In collaboration with social authorities, the local community, doctors and others, we work to provide our children with the best services possible. Education is an important part of Rejoice Children’s Home, and our children attend local schools. We want our children to be part of the community, and to have the opportunity to participate in local activities on the same level as other children.

Rejoice is currently full, and we don’t have room to accommodate more children. We want to expand, by building Rejoice Village we will be able to welcome more children, as well as give an even better life to the kids who live with us.
